Job Title: Property & Casualty Account Handler

Lawes Consulting Group are working exclusively with a top 10 contributor to the Lloyds market. Due to the success of the company they are looking to grow their Property & Casualty team.
You will be responsible for negotiating the renewal of UK Property and Casualty accounts, undertaking all aspects in the placing and maintenance of risks. Responsibilities
- Ensure a professional and efficient level of service is maintained to support the team
- Request relevant additional information required by underwriters from agents to enable them to consider requests further
- Advise brokers of acceptance/refusal of cover and provide written confirmation of terms
- Ensure responses are promptly requested and received from underwriters and that agent is informed accordingly
- Preparation of presentations to Insurers/use of online portals for new and renewal client
- Negotiate the renewal of Commercial accounts ensuring that the agreed renewal retention rate is exceeded
- Promptly convey instructions and premiums to underwriters
- Update MI/Statistics using the in-house computer system as necessary
- Investigate and resolve accounts queries as requested
- Any other duties as directed in connection with the smooth running of the team
Knowledge & Skills:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to confidently converse with colleagues, sub-agents and underwriters, written and verbally
- Good admin and computer skills
